Privacy Policy
Effective: 26 May 2026 · Last updated: 26 May 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the TokSave iOS application ("TokSave", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information. TokSave is developed and operated by Aiman Daniel ("the developer"). By using TokSave, you agree to the practices described below.
Summary
- TokSave does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our own servers — because TokSave has no servers.
- TokSave does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or any third-party trackers.
- The only information ever associated with you is your Apple ID — and only if you choose to subscribe.
- Everything you do in TokSave stays on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
TokSave does not collect any of the following:
- Your name, phone number, or address
- Your location
- Your contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, or camera data
- Your browsing history or device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV)
- Usage analytics, crash reports sent to third parties, or marketing data
- Any data that personally identifies you, except as described in Section 2
2. Information We Do Receive (and Why)
2.1 Apple Sign In (Optional)
You only need to sign in with Apple if you choose to subscribe to TokSave Premium. The free tier works fully without any sign-in.
When you sign in with Apple, the app receives:
- A user identifier issued by Apple — an opaque token unique to your Apple ID and this app. It contains no personally identifying information on its own.
- Optionally your name and email address, but only if you choose to share them at the Apple Sign In prompt. You can choose "Hide My Email" to share a private relay address instead of your real email.
This data is stored only in the Keychain on your device. It is never sent to any server operated by the developer, because no such server exists. If you delete your account inside the app (Paywall → ⋯ → Delete account) or sign out, this information is permanently removed from your device.
2.2 Subscription Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple via the standard App Store / StoreKit purchase flow. The developer never sees your payment details. TokSave only receives an anonymous confirmation that an active subscription exists for the current Apple ID, used to unlock unlimited downloads.
Refund requests, billing questions, and cancellations are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your device.
3. Information That Leaves Your Device
When you use TokSave, two outbound network requests can happen:
3.1 Video Extraction
When you paste a link and tap "Load Video", the app sends the link you pasted to a third-party public extraction endpoint (tikwm.com) to retrieve a direct, watermark-free media URL plus public metadata (creator handle, caption, duration). Only the public URL you provide is sent. No identifying information about you or your device is included in this request.
The developer does not control tikwm.com. If you wish to review their practices, please consult their website directly.
3.2 Trusted Time Check (Free Tier Only)
To prevent users from bypassing the daily free-tier download limit by changing their device clock, the app performs a lightweight HTTPS request to one of:
https://www.apple.comhttps://www.cloudflare.comhttps://www.google.com
and reads only the standard Date response header. No data about you is transmitted — these are normal HTTPS requests indistinguishable from opening the homepage of any of those websites in a browser.
4. Data Stored On Your Device
TokSave stores the following locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Daily download counter and reset timestamp — used to enforce the 3-downloads-per-day free limit. Stored in the iOS Keychain.
- Apple Sign In identifier (only if you subscribed) — stored in the iOS Keychain.
- Downloaded videos and photos — saved to your Photos library, where you have full control over them.
You can wipe all of this at any time by deleting the app from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
TokSave is intended for users aged 13 and older. The app does not knowingly collect any data from children. There is no user-generated content, no in-app messaging, no social features, and no advertising.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Because TokSave does not collect or store any data on a remote server:
- You already have full control of every piece of information the app uses.
- To delete your account: open the paywall, tap the ⋯ menu, choose Delete account.
- To delete all app data: uninstall TokSave from your device.
- To cancel your subscription: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → TokSave Premium.
If you reside in the EU/UK (GDPR), California (CCPA), or another jurisdiction with data-protection laws, you have the same rights — but in practice there is nothing for the developer to delete on your behalf, because no personal data is held by us.
7. Third-Party Services
The following third parties are involved in the operation of TokSave. We encourage you to review their privacy notices:
- Apple — Apple Sign In, StoreKit (subscriptions), Photos framework. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
- tikwm.com — public video extraction endpoint used to fetch direct media URLs.
TokSave does not use any analytics, attribution, advertising, or social-media SDKs.
8. Security
Sensitive items (Apple Sign In identifier, daily quota record) are stored in the iOS Keychain, which is encrypted and protected by your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Network requests are sent only over HTTPS.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of TokSave after a change means you accept the updated policy.
